Domaine Alône
- singular terroir wines -
A philosophy in harmony with nature

With 10 hectares of vines, Domaine Alône focuses all its energy on producing rosé and red wines with strong personality. The approach is resolutely respectful: a minimum of inputs, practices influenced by lunar cycles, and a sandy terroir that gives the grapes a natural freshness and elegance.
Growing a vineyard in such an atypical location forces me to push back the boundaries, to listen to the vines and to nature even more.
Christian Ott
Guided by this philosophy, Pascale and Christian aim for excellence, combining traditional know-how, care for the health of the soil and the desire to offer wines with a distinctive identity.

An atypical terroir
- the soul of Alône -

A "circus" that protects biodiversity
The estate is surrounded only by umbrella pines, holm oaks and garrigue, where immortal fennel and wild violets form a veritable natural circus. Thanks to its sand-rich soils and an altitude varying between 420 m and 470 m, the vines are not subject to water stress or external pollution, thus benefiting from a healthy environment. Natural predators and wild flora coexist, creating an ecological balance that preserves the health of the vineyard.
Optimum ripening
The thermal amplitude between day and night (up to 35°C during the day, 18°C at night) ensures slow, complete ripening, ideal for producing fine, elegant wines marked by the atypical signature of the sand. Here, nature imposes its own rhythm, and Christian and Pascale accompany it with humility, convinced that "the earth gives its best when it is listened to and respected".

Our methods
- from vine to cellar -

Work
to
lunar rhythm
We follow the lunar cycles to respect the nature of the vineyard and encourage the vitality of the vines. This intimate link with the moon is reflected in the harmony of our wines, whether rosé or red.

Harvested by hand
&
indigenous yeasts
Each bunch is hand-picked, preserving the integrity of the fruit. Natural yeasts are used for fermentation, for unique, authentic notes that reveal the typicity of our terroir.

Gentle winemaking
&
various ages
Stainless steel vats, ceramic spheres, porcelain or wooden barrels: we adapt the ageing process to each cuvée. The rosés gain in freshness, the reds in depth, and all respect the idea of bio-compatible, environmentally-friendly production.

Red & rosé:
two worlds,
the same high standards
Our two main wine families - red and rosé - reflect the diversity of our vineyards. Non-appellation cuvées that assert a singular personality, between tradition and creative freedom.
The Alône range
- rosé and red, the essence of the estate -
With production limited to 10 hectares, our wines reflect the richness of an extraordinary sandy terroir. We favor grape varieties chosen for their ability to express the purest expression of this unique terroir, oscillating between the freshness of a rosé and the depth of a remarkable red.

Red Wines
Tompine (2022), Ovatus (2022) and 2021
Character:
Silky tannins, notes of red fruit and spices, partially aged in wood for greater complexity.

Rosé wines
Sand (2023) and ATMO (multi-millimeter)
Character:
Citrus notes, light mouthfeel,
a wine with a luminous color.
