Domaine Alône
- rosé wine -
For rosé wines, whole bunches are pressed, with maceration of the juice to extract color and aroma.

Alône rosés fully reflect the unique identity of this estate, located in the Sainte-Baume massif. Here, each bottle bears witness to a dual quest: to preserve the aromatic purity characteristic of a top-of-the-range rosé wine, while highlighting the diversity of an atypical terroir, rich in sand and beneficial to the vine.
Thanks to a meticulous selection of grape varieties (Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah...) and a respectful approach to nature, our cuvées are distinguished by their fruity and mineral notes, reflecting both the sunshine and the cool night air of the Var altitudes. These rosés are characterized by a free and refined style, halfway between tradition and innovation.
The vintages

Cuvée Sable (2023)
Identity
A true reflection of Domaine Alône's sandy terroir, Sable is distinguished by a texture and depth unusual for a rosé wine. The nose reveals great aromatic intensity, blending citrus zest, sweet spices and fine salinity. On the palate, the wine's elegance stretches out over iodized notes, reflecting the uniqueness of our sandy, quartz-rich soils. The grape varieties (Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache) are blended to preserve freshness and bring out the distinctive finesse of this rosé.
Breeding
After parcel-by-parcel vinification, the juices are aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, ceramic spheres and porcelain. This gentle method maintains the purity of the fruit while developing aromatic complexity. The result is a wine whose finesse and length on the palate testify to precise work, both respectful of the grape and innovative in the search for the most accurate expression of terroir.
Service & wine pairing
Served between 10 and 12°C, Sable benefits from being decanted for half an hour to release all its minerality and freshness. Its citrus and spicy notes make it an ideal partner for seafood, grilled fish and lightly spiced dishes. Also perfect as an aperitif, it seduces with its liveliness and intensity.

Cuvée ATMO (multi-millésimé)
Identity
ATMO seduces with its generous volume on the palate and a parallel concentration of ripe fruit and sweet spices. This subtle salinity, typical of Domaine Alône, gives the rosé a distinctive character that goes equally well as an aperitif or with dinner. The long, persistent palate reveals a fine balance between the roundness of the fruit and the freshness essential to this wine.
Breeding
This multi-vintage cuvée embodies a unique interpretation of our terroir. The result of an initiatory process that began with the estate's first vintages, it bears witness to the encounter between the purity of the fruit and the finesse of the sandy soils. Year after year, to the rhythm of the lunar calendar, ATMO evolves and refines, inheriting a rare Provencal know-how and a genuine adaptation to the altitude and particular nature of our plots.
Service & wine pairing
Fresh and aromatic, Cuvée ATMO fully expresses itself around 10-12°C. Its notes of ripe fruit and spices make it the ideal partner for Mediterranean cuisine, white meats and refined aperitifs. Its evolutionary character also promises pleasant surprises as the months go by.

Vintage
- climatic context and terroir -
Each vintage shapes the character of our rosés. At Domaine Alône, 2023 illustrates the balance between a suitable climate and the uniqueness of our sandy soils, allowing each grape variety (Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah) to express its quintessence.

Type of season
The 2023 vintage began with a cool winter, followed by a mild spring that saw the vines awaken around April 20. With rainfall reaching almost 900 mm, the season provided the plots with a sufficient supply of water, favoring the regular growth of the vines.

Impact on maturity
Thanks to this water reserve, the grapes progressed towards optimum ripeness without undue stress. The cool nights, combined with sunny days, protected the natural acidity and enabled the rosé to retain its famous touch of salinity and citrus, typical of the estate's sandy terroir.

The key to the harvest
Hand-picking began on September 4, a crucial moment for capturing the perfect balance between sugars, acidity and aromatic intensity. This rigorous plot-by-plot sorting ensures the irreproachable quality of the bunches, before their delicate vinification in stainless steel vats, ceramic spheres or porcelain. The result is rosés that are both lively and complex, a faithful reflection of the year and the passion of the domaine.
Commitment and respect for the earth
At Domaine Alône, the same "quasi-biodynamic" approach is applied to the production of our rosés. We use lunar cycles to program major operations (pruning, foliar treatments, harvesting), while limiting inputs to the strict minimum. Whether Grenache, Cinsault or Syrah, each grape variety is cultivated with the aim of revealing the freshness and finesse expected in a rosé wine.

Manual harvesting
Our rosé plots are harvested by hand, guaranteeing rigorous selection and preserving the integrity of the grapes. This artisanal care is essential to capture the delicate aromatic notes (citrus, white flowers, light spices) typical of our sandy terroir.
Minimalism in the cellar
In keeping with this approach, we keep cellar intervention to a minimum: gentle pressing, fermentations started with indigenous yeasts, and ageing on lees to preserve the purity of the fruit. The result is a limpid, lively rosé that reflects the uniqueness of our terroir. This consistency from vine to vat bears witness to our desire to offer authentic wines, combining finesse and respect for nature.
